Following soon, there will be more information on the scientific program of the ICCF 2022. Our organizing team is currently receiving proposals for minisymposia, as well as first abstract submissions. You may already have a look at our excellent plenary speakers. The conference will be set up in several parallel sessions and plenaries from Monday morning to Friday afternoon.

As it is the tradition at ICCF, we are looking forward a festive conference dinner together! The dinner will take place on Wednesday evening, 8 June 2022 and we invite you all to participate!

The location will be our beautiful 'Stadthalle' Wuppertal and there will be a delicious menu from a local caterer!

On Thursday afternoon, 9 June 2022, we will explore the industrial culture of the area visiting the 'Zeche Zollverein' in Essen. Zeche Zollverein is a gigantic former coal mine, which is now part of UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, and is one of the anchor points of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.

Around 2pm we will depart with busses from the University and reach Essen in about 45min. In place we will take the guided tour "About coal and miners" in smaller groups. Moreover there will be time to explore the industrial complex individually or maybe take a coffee in one of several cafés.
